چکیده

A very economic scenario with just three extra scalar fields beyond the Standard Model is invoked to explain muon anomalous magnetic moment, requisite relic abundance of dark matter as well XENON1T excess through inelastic down-scattering scalar.

Dark Matter Direct Searches and the Anomalous Magnetic Moment of Muon

In the framework of the Constrained Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (CMSSM) we discuss the impact of the recent experimental information, especially from E821 Brookhaven experiment on gμ−2 along with the light Higgs boson mass bound from LEP, to the Dark Matter direct searches. Imposing these experimental bounds, the maximum value of the spin-independent neutralino-nucleon cross section t...

Implications of Muon anomalous magnetic moment for Direct detection of Neutralino Dark Matter

We investigate the implications of the recent measurement of muon anomalous magnetic moment for the direct detection of neutralino dark matter in the three different SUSY models: mSUGRA, a model with non-universal Higgs mass, and an SO(10) GUT model. We consider two extreme scenario for ∆aμ bound, i.e. 27 × 10 < ∆aμ < 59 × 10 (1σ bound) and 0 < ∆aμ < 11 × 10 (2σ below). In mSUGRA model, the cou...

Supersymmetry and the anomalous anomalous magnetic moment of the muon.

The recently reported measurement of the muon's anomalous magnetic moment differs from the standard model prediction by 2.6 sigma. We examine the implications of this discrepancy for supersymmetry. Deviations of the reported magnitude are generic in supersymmetric theories. Based on the new result, we derive model-independent upper bounds on the masses of observable supersymmetric particles. We...

The Bnl Muon Anomalous Magnetic Moment Measurement

The E821 experiment at Brookhaven National Laboratory is designed to measure the muon magnetic anomaly, aμ, to an ultimate precision of 0.4 parts per million (ppm). Because theory can predict aμ to 0.6 ppm, and ongoing efforts aim to reduce this uncertainty, the comparison represents an important and sensitive test of new physics. At the time of this Workshop, the reported experimental result f...

Brane Fluctuation and anomalous muon magnetic moment

We study the effects of extra dimensions on the muon anomalous magnetic moment with brane fluctuation. Since the coupling is naturally suppressed if brane fluctuation is considered by exponential softening factor for heavier states, the contribution from the whole Kaluza-Klein graviton tower is shown to be finite. The recent BNL E821 result is accomodated with D = 4 + δ dimensional gravitationa...
